Information about company: Brief history:OJSC "Krasnyj Octyabr" was officially founded in 1851. A workshop where candies and chocolate were made opened on Arbat sò 1851 by Theodor Ferdinand font Eiman, the national of Wurttemberg. “Einem” was entered into “Factory and plant guide of the Russian Empire” in 1867. “Steam association of chocolate, candy and cookie factory” was nationalized after the October revolution. The factory also got a new name “National confectionary factory #1, former Einem.” It was renamed "Krasnyj Octyabr" in 1922. The factory was privatized and reorganized into a joint company in 1992. The factory entered the Managing organization of the United Confectionary Manufacturers management company in 2002.
