The assortment of goods that are produced by the Holding’s factories fully covers all segments of the confectionery market: chocolate, candies sold by weight or the packed ones, caramel, toffee, waffles, cakes, oriental sweets and hand-made candies.
The companies’ most famous brands are “Alenka”, “Babaevskiy”, “Vdokhnovenie” “Visit”, “Mishka na Severe”, “Oseniy Vals”, “Krasnaya Shapochka”, “Skazki Pushkina”, “Ptichiye Moloko”, “Moskvichka” and many others. Specialists of the Holding pay great deal of attention on developing new products. Our novelties are notable for their original recipes, attractive design and traditionally stainless quality.
A wide-promotion campaign the main brands “Babaevskiy”, “Alenka” and “Vdokhnovenie” is planned for 2007. A number of events for creation and promotion of new brands of Moscow and regional companies is also on the list of priorities.
The Holding was actively developing international bonds with nations of the former Soviet Union along with the US, Israel, Canada, Germany, Greece, Mongolia, New Zealand in 2006. Mutually beneficial cooperation with Poland and France was initiated last year. Exports increased by 36% comparing to year 2005 and amounted to 15,6 million US dollars.
The Holding plans to increase its sales volume by 17% comparing to 2006 to the total of 24 billion rubles.
The Holding plans on achieving its goals by the means of effective work of the Single distribution system, Regional dealers’ centers that operate in all Federal regions of the Russian Federation. Single distribution system allows controlling retail sales in more than 49 000 stores through out the Russian territory that will guarantee growth of the Holding’s market share. Currently, the Holding’s numerical distribution is around 30% of the major cities’ active base. The Holding’s special representatives’ team has more than 1 000 members through out the country in accordance with the data of 2006.
Single Sales areas (ETP) are placed in operation in Moscow and Vidnoe city of the Moscow region. ETPs allow forming optimal assortment of Moscow and regionally produced products and their subsequent distribution into the regions, Moscow and regional chain stores and export. Furthermore, ETP’s establishment permitted shipping of consolidated assortments from all of the Holding’s factories for creation of the needed conditions for the regional dealer’s chain development.
The United Confectionary Manufacturers management company plans on developing direct retail sales on local markets along with distribution development of the national assortment. The Holding bases its plans on strong traditions and potentials of the regional factories as well as on rational positioning of the local product’s assortment.
Direct sales to large national chains stores have doubled (“Pyaterochka”, “Perekrestok”, “Metro C&C”, “Real”, “Aushan”, “Magnit”, “Dixsi”, “Kopeika”, “GK Victoria” and others). The assortment of products has been broadened within the frameworks of the strategic partnership.
Quality management system implementation is crucial for ensuring single high quality standards. The quality management system meets international standards of series ICO 9000. It is planned that all factories of the Holding will be certified in HASSP system by 2009.
